A Look Back: Celebrating Impactful Initiatives
In October last year, we had the honor of hosting Vanessa Eriksson on our podcast—a true trailblazer and advocate for gender equality in tech. Vanessa is the founder of Girls in Tech Nordics (GiTN), an organization established in 2017 to inspire and support young girls and women in pursuing careers in STEM.
Through GiTN, Vanessa and her team address the underrepresentation of women in tech by fostering an inclusive environment and offering mentorship to girls aged 13–16 and young women in universities. At BayInCo, we applaud initiatives like GiTN that go beyond policy changes to tackle systemic challenges at their roots, creating a sustainable impact on career perceptions and opportunities.
