Typically, an Accounting Manager has broad competence and a drive to work both strategically and operationally but also a people leader with wide knowledge of accounting principles and best practices, including closing activities, accounting, ensuring financial flows and qualitative financial reporting including tax reporting and payroll. 

Expected responsibilities (not exclusive) to:

• Preparation of monthly financial reports, including the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
• Assist in preparing KPI, budgets and forecasts as well as ad hoc projects
• Develop and drive best practices within the finance function regarding financial control, compliance, and up-to-date accounting standards
• Be a key player while building a modern finance function
• Overseeing accounting daily operations and taking responsibility for supervising, monitoring and evaluating all day-to-day accounting activities
• Ensuring month-end and year-end reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Adhere to proper accounting methods, laws, policies and principles

You should have a university education in Accounting or Finance, experience managing a team of accountants, responsibility of financial reporting, compliance and accounting which could include separate entities. It carries merit that you have good communication skills, both written and verbal in Swedish and English.
